Children not sorting correctly

I'm sure the explanation is simple, but I can't find it. I have a couple of family views where the children will not sort by birth date even though all the dates are entered correctly. The erroneous child orders are also reflected in descendant charts. Can anyone tell me what I am missing?

Do you expect Reunion to sort the children automatically by birth date? Reunion won't do that. You have to sort them manually by clicking on the child button above the child area in family view and then select the sort command from the menu.

Or have you already tried that and it's not working?

Note that you can also quickly sort children in the entire Family File by going to:

Change / Sort Children

If that isn't properly sorting the children based on the options you select, please let us know.
