Marking from search results

I have done a search of the miscellaneous notes of all my records to locate those who have an obituary. Is there any way to easily mark/flag those individuals based on the search results? Another example ... searching for everyone who graduated from "Main Street High School" and then, after obtaining results, marking or flagging them without having to go in and edit each person.

Right after you do the search, and the results appear in the sidebar, click the green check-mark button under the sidebar. That'll show Marking Shortcuts.
Select the first item in the menu.
