    Splitting a tree?

I want to make a Gedcom of a certain branch on my tree to send to another researcher--can that be done or do I need to split off that branch first? process?

"Mark" the people you want to send, then export the Gedcom with "Marked people (#) and their spouses" checked.

I used to have a way of splitting files in Reunion 9 and earlier--but that isn't working in 10. I used to start by putting one of my parents in the clipboard--then marking all people related to one then flag them as dad's family--then do the same for mom's. I just tried this last night (first time since updating to 10) and it didn't work.

      I'm still experimenting.

For guidance, click a ? button anywhere and search the manual for "splitting" (without the quotes).
