When I upload our Gedcom to FTDNA, the names, birth and death dates appear, but not the places of birth and death. I have exported the file in various formats, and nothing seems to work. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

That's odd. It worked correctly for me. I can't imagine it would matter, but my GEDCOM export options were:
Marked people and their spouses (I had marked only my direct ancestors for 8 generations)
GEDCOM 5.5
Windows GEDCOM character set
Line Length 127
I don't think I used privacy filtering since I generally just unmark anyone living before doing the export.
I would suggest you open the GED with a text editor and make sure the places are there. Then contact FTDNA customer support.
