Flag Settings

Today I added four check box buttons in my Family View Preferences. All seemed to be in order.When I clicked back to Family View, I found that all boxes for all people were checked. This was not at all what I expected. I cannot seem to find a way to have them show as unchecked until I check the ones that pertain to the person.

Any ideas what I have set up incorrectly?

Based on your note, it sounds like all flags were mistakenly set for all people at some point.

If that is the case, the simplest solution is to do this...

1. Open your family file and choose Change > Set Flags.

2. Then, click the "Clear" button near the top.

3. Select a flag from the "Flag" menu to clear.

4. Select "All people" and click "Clear" at the bottom.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all flags shown in the "Flag" menu have been cleared.
