Automatic General Sources

Hello Everyone

From time to time I like to use automatic sources. I've noticed,though, that they always appear as general sources and I don't want that to happen. Is there any way to automatically source as a normal source?

the Manual certainly seems to say that automatic sources are always general sources, and work only when adding new people. The only short cut I know of with sources attached to particular fields is Cmd-R for repeat last used source, but presumably you know about that? I have given up hope of ever seeing my requested feature, which was 'last created source' as a menu item or short cut.
