    Copying preferences between family files

I just upgraded from Reunion 9 to Reunion 10. I have a number of different databases for unrelated lines for a surname that I am researching As I am getting used to the new look, I have spent some time getting the preferences, window layouts and report formats adjusted to my liking in one of the files. Is there a way that I can apply all of those adjustments to the other family files without having to manually make the same adjustments to each one?

Simply choose File->Export->Family File and choose all the no this or that options. Then you'll have an empty copy of your database with all the settings you established.

You can share or copy the family views from one family file to another. For more info, click the ? button and search the manual for "copying family views" (without the quotes).
