Is there any way to email something such as a Family History or Family Group Report instead of having to save it and attach it, etc.?

Yes. One way would be to select "Mail" as the destination for the report before creating the report.

Or, an alternative would be to open the report in your word processor and choose File -> Print. Then, in the Print window, select "Mail PDF" from the PDF pop-up menu.
