Recalling Marked Sets

In R10 the manual says:
"Recalling a marked set will unmark everybody in the family file and then mark the people in the set."

What I would like to do is save a set of people then be able to recall them without everybody in the family file being unmarked and the recalled set being automatically marked. Is it possible to save a set of people who are in a found list but not marked, then recall them without them being marked?

If you have a results list from a find operation, you should be able to save the results list from the list window. (Triangle menu in upper left corner of window.)

Thanks, Tim. When I open my search results in the list window, as you said, rather than the side bar, I can save it without marking it. That is great. If I later recall that saved (unmarked) set, will it unmark everyone in the family file and mark the recalled set in the same way as if I save a marked set? That's what I don't want to happen.

"Marked sets" and "results lists" are completely different concepts.

Results lists can be saved and recalled in the sidebar or the List window. Same list appears either way. The List window has more options; but the sidebar is handier, imho.

No marking happens automatically when you save or recall a results list.

From your original post it sounds like you want to save and recall a particular list of people, and not mark or unmark anybody. That's what the results lists are for.
