    Screen Size

    I currently have Reunion 9.0c which I run on a 13" Macbook.

I am considering upgrading to Reunion 10 but am concerned that the addition of the new Nav Bar and Sidebar together to the Family View window will mean that a 13" screen is too small.

Can anyone please confirm whether or not my concern is justified ? Many thanks.

    Re: Screen Size

It is workable on a 13 inch MacBook screen, although things get a bit cramped with both sidebars showing.

You could get the demo version of Reunion 10 and give it a whirl.

        Re: Screen Size

        Hi Dave,
One of my Macs is the 13" MacBook. So I made sure, when designing Reunion 10, that everything would fit.
It is a little cramped, as Roger commented. However, it is workable.
The key is the Family View Preferences, where you have lots of flexibility to tweak the content of buttons and fields.
Also, remember that images in buttons can be resized. Or removed.

          Frank,
Unfortunately, not everything fits and not everything is workable. I use about 80 different source types and have a 30 inch monitor. However, when I intend to add a new source, select "Source" in the "Sidebar", and press the + icon (lower right corner of the right-hand "Sources" menu) only the second half of all the available source types are displayed in the "Add Source" menu. There's no way to access the first half of the source types in the "Add Source" menu. There's a scroll bar missing in this menu. The only way to access all available source types is to click the "+ Add Source" below source citations.

I recommend that scroll-ability is added in the "Add Source" menu.

          Regards
          Reiner

Forgive us for missing the scenario of 80 different source types. We'll need to re-think the interface of that particular function, given your feedback.
