Name in index, NOT in person card

See if this makes your head hurt too.

I can see a person in the index, but when I open their card, it's blank.

I tried to re-add the info for the person as a test, now they're in the index twice. With two different changed dates.

Before I do something I will regret, anyone know what to do?

(Addendum: This invisible person's children and wife are there and not there as well. However, if I go to the wife's parents cards, I can see her listed as their child. I click on her name, I can see her card, but not her husband or children)

I am now officially freaked out.
