    "Sharing" Found Lists as Text

When i wanted to Report a Found list in Reunion 9, I could select a Plain Text File with an "include tabs between fields" option. This was invaluable when exporting data from a Found list into a worksheet (Numbers, Excel or what have you).

So far as I have been able to discover, this has been dropped in Reunion 10. Only the .rtf option exists for Sharing text files. These do NOT export into any spreadsheet I have (Numbers, Libre Office or Excel 2004). I have to go via another application to convert them into tab separated data.

    Unless anyone knows better?

This matters to me! I have no reason to Share as a text file except to enter the data into a worksheet! Especially as I frequently need more than eleven columns and have to Share two views of a Found list and then add one to the right of another. This cannot be done in any word processor I know of.

Well it's hidden, but not gone entirely - if you hold down the Option Key while clicking the Blue Share Button you will then see a "Plain Text File" option available. This creates a .txt file.

If you search the manual for

    plain text

    you'll find this explained.

Aha! There it is. I'm greatly relieved - thank you.

But what a needless complication for the sake of one line in a drop-down menu! Wouldn't it be better to leave it there all the time?
