Copying the format of a family file

I want to create a couple of new family files using exactly the same settings as for my existing family file. Is there any way to automatically do this, or do I have to manually change all the settings in each new family file?

You can do this in Reunion 9 by selecting File->Save a Copy->Clone. This will save a version of your family file with all the settings but no records.
