Relationship suddenly appears below names

Relationship in the form of e.g. 1C1R suddenly appears below names. It refers to a source person who was a cousin of my mother, who hasn't been referenced since she was entered years ago. What caused this and how do I fix it?

Well, probably you switched to a "view" that included relationships from one that didn't.
Or you somehow recalculated relationships which were previously missing.

you should go to "Family View Preferences..." and see which View you are using and if any of the other views listed there is the one you're used to.

If not, click "Duplicate View" and then remove "Relationships" where ever you don't want them shown (Inside the Couple Buttons, or on the Parent button.)

Alternatively, you could place a more useful person as the source (like yourself) and keep showing the relationships.
