    Double Dates (i.e., pre-1752)

What is best practice in specifying double dates (Old Style / New Style), e.g., "17 Feb 1732/3"? The other thread with this same title implies I should handle each such date as a Custom Date and specify the New Style date as the one on which to sort.

I'm not sure how others record, but I always show, as you have listed ie, 17-2-1732/3 and then save as a custom date. I don't specify "new style".

I have asked the "Reunion folks" in the past if its possible to sort dates in this way, but they say it can't be done.
