Second family card

I am using Reunion 10. I’ll see if I can explain this clearly. I have a female in my file who had a son, without being married. She then married a man who is not the father of her son. How do I enter the husband’s name on a completely different family card? I still want to keep the family card in Reunion for the mother and her son.

How do I enter the husband’s name on a completely different family card? I still want to keep the family card in Reunion for the mother and her son.

Add another spouse for her and mark the marriage section as 'Unmarried'. Add the son as the child of the new 'partner'. If the 2nd partner adopted the son, add him from existing people, and mark his status as adopted.
