I was using FTM and I exported a gedcom and When I imported into Reunion most have extra commas and some of the names are not in the right order. Is there anyway to do a mass replace of extra commas, etc.?

It is not reversible, soooo make sure you back up your file first!Originally posted by SGilbert View PostGo to Find in the left column, then Find & Replace.

Re: Bulk Editing of Place Names?
Thanks for the reply, but my bad as they say. I had actually imported a gedcom created in Heredis (I've been looking at a whole bunch of programs), so I did an export from FTM and the place names look good. For some reason, Heredis has to have a "?" in the city field, it can't be blank. My only problem now, is I have some persons entered in the original file that weren't in FTM, so I'm going to have to enter them in the new file.Originally posted by SGilbert View PostGo to Find in the left column, then Find & Replace.
