I am a fairly new user, and wondering if I can link two families, once I determine the point of connection? I would be building a fairly complex "third family" file, and don't want to do all that work if I eventually want to link it into one of the other two family files I have built, and find that is not possible. Thanks for any tips/advice!

It's very easy to deal with two separate families in Reunion, and even easier with Reunion 11's introduction of the Islands feature, which streamlines the management of independent groups of people.
With everyone in one file, it's trivial to connect two groups when the missing link is found.
This would probably entail you importing one of your two family files into the other. (I'd make a backup of the receiving file for insurance before taking the plunge.)Last edited by ttl; 23 June 2015, 05:01 PM. -
