In addition to ship manifest information I found ancestor info on "New York Book Indexes to Passenger Lists, 1906-1942."
For my ancestors, listed as "Peniok" (a real surprise in name variation for me) there are two columns following, the same 6 for each, and then numbered 1 through 6. I went back and forth through the whole listing and found no labels for these columns. What do they refer to?
