I have used WORD to create a series of newsletters for each couple in the direct line back from my husband. I included photos, maps and stories of their lives. I also included a bit of local history so their story had some context.
It took me about a month to gather together all the research I had done on each couple to put it into a newsletter. I then saved it as a pdf and put it onto a private blog I set up just for our family.
They have been well-received.
I then plan to use these stories, etc in these newsletters to write a book for the family. This is a way off yet but I at least have the newsletters.
