Where do you store your source documents?

Hi, I haven't used Reunion for a while and so today I had to upgrade to 13 and move my file from DropBox. It is now stored on my local drive on my Mac. I had put it on an external hard drive but it was making Reunion run too slow so I moved it.

It's now running fast but my source documents (multimedia) are still on my external drive and so it's taking a long time when I click to view them from within Reunion. Would you move them to the local drive or leave them where they are?

I do have space on my hard drive, but I tend not to save anything there because the external drive works well.

    I'd appreciate any thoughts, thanks.

UPDATE: I decided to move all my multimedia to the local drive and at first it seemed to have worked. Everything opened super quick, but now nothing will open. It says I don't have permission to access those files, but I do have permission. Any ideas?

UPDATE: I found the solution here on the forum https://www.reuniontalk.com/forum/us...-source-window

I'll leave this open in case it helps anyone else.
