Anyone have any thoughts on I might to do this other than manually? I would like a tree that is only five generations, with spouses of course, and ideally the parents of spouses.

I'm confused -- are you talking about a 5-generation PEDIGREE chart or are you talking about a FAMILYFILE that includes only 5 generations? Or something else?

I want to remove everyone farther than five generations from the source person in a family file that contains up to seven or eight generations.
