Default Merging

Can I merge a data base from Reunion 12 and 11 into one updated file?

In a word, no. V11 and V12 are different formats. You can, however, create a V12 file of the data in the V11 file and then merge the two V12 files.

If you're using Reunion 11, no. Reunion 11 can not import Reunion 12 family files.

However, you can if you're using Reunion 12. Reunion 12 is capable of importing Reunion 11 family files into an existing Reunion 12 family file via:

File -> Import -> Reunion Family File...

This is the first step in merging two family files. I'd recommend searching "merge family files" (no quotes) in the manual and reading the entry "Combining or Merging Family Files", which outlines how to merge two family files.
