    Editing Dates in Events

I have recently ported my tree into Reunion now that I have another mac. At present events often only have a year. For example Event Census Date is 1851. How do I globally change just the date field to 30 Mar 1851 (1851 may appear in other fields so find/replace is not suitable).

    Many thanks.

    You could:

    [1] unmark everyone
[2] find Events -> Census -> Census Date Is 1851
    [3] mark the found people
[4] Click on the "Find" icon in the left navbar (the magnifying glass)
[5] Click on the "Find and Replace..." button.
    [6] set up replacement:
    Replace all occurrences of: 1851
    With: 30 Mar 1851
    Who: Marked people
    Where: All Fields
    How: Whole fields only
    [7] hit the "Replace..." button.

That should minimize any wrong substitutions.

The below doesn't work for me. In the Manual under "Find and Replace" appears in the following:

Note: Choosing All Fields affects all person and family fields in your family file except...
        date fields

Is there another way to find and replace dates?
