Can I exclude a person from charts?

If a child of a living person was adopted out and not publicly known about, I would want to have the existence of that child in the database. But I don't seem to be able to then exclude the child from charts. I have done all the privacy filtering and so forth, but the best I can do is to have the child appear as "Private" or "Confidential". This really gives the game away.

Is the only way not to have the child in the database at all?

It'll require remembering every time you make a chart, but if you mark everyone, and then unmark the person in question, you can choose the Prune Marked Relatives only option in the Chart pane, and the person will be left out.

You could create a marked set, but that would have to be updated as you added people to your family file.

Even simpler, you can create the chart, click on the person's box to select it, and then hit the delete key.
