    Customising Family View

I am using Reunion 11.0.12. where my options for customising the Family View are listed as: (1) Default, (2) Misc. Notes, (3) User Notes, and (4) General.

However in the Manual, accessed via Help, I read under ‘The Family View: Customising’ that the options are (1) Default, (2) Misc. Notes Only, (3) Medical and Misc., (4) Events Only, (5) Mac Book Air, (6) Smart Lists, and (7) My View.

I’m naturally wondering why my Family View options are restricted, why I haven’t the range listed in the Manual. Can anyone explain please?

The program comes with the four predefined views you mention. Any additional views will be defined by you. So in the manual, the additional views are those that have been defined and named by a hypothetical user. They are just examples.

I see – thank you. Perhaps it's just me but I find the hypothetical nature of this manual entry not easy to detect. At least I understand it now.
