Why aren't my Step Brothers or Step Sisters listed as Step?

My stepdad has kids by previous marriages & while he is correctly listed as my Step Father when I am the Source person, his kids aren't listed as related. In the relatives list I can see my half family, but not my Step family. Only my Step Father is listed, not my Step Brothers (Step is checked in the Relatives Settings).

Likewise, if I make one of my Step Brothers the Source person, it shows my Mom as his Step Mother, but not me as his Step Brother.

I did notice that if I choose Summary for the Sidebar option, I can see Step-siblings. So obviously, it knows they exist, but for some reason, I don't see it on the Family View.

What am I doing wrong please?

You're not doing anything wrong.

Reunion will identify step parents and step grandparents but will not go any further. Step siblings and step aunts and uncles etc. will not be identified.
