On a family page, which child is my direct ancestor?

    Search the manual for "direct lines bold" (no quotes) to see your options.

    FWIW when I have families with several children one of whom is my direct ancestor, I usually click-on and drag that person to the top of the children's list. That's my easy way
    of spotting direct ancestors and is usually in bold lettering.

  • On a family page, which child is my direct ancestor?

    If I have a family page open, eg. for my GGG grandparents, is there a way to indicate which of their children is my direct ancestor. In other words, which child should I select to eventually get back to me. (I know the Home button on the bottom bar gets to me directly - I want to go down the family tree).
    I notice that a child who does not have their own children is in lighter grey type (I originally thought this was Bold/not Bold but it seems not), so my ancestor must be in dark type.
    I also know that I can add a relationship column, but that's a waste of space because I only want one child identified.
