Downloaded v.10 & love it. One problem however. I recently updated 10 files. Conversion from v.9 went smoothly except these recently updated files did not appear. I tried several times and finally resorted to adding them manually.

One new feature I've always felt missing with Reunion is the Web family cards tree.

Thanks Leister Pro for a superb upgrade.

Currently there is no documentation on this, but the CSS classes are mostly the same as R9 -- the difference is mainly in the division of settings among CSS files. In 10, the styling is split up by color (also where settings like background images a found), format (line styling, shadows, etc.) and font (self-explanatory ). There is a CSS file for each of these settings (in the case of format, multiple CSS files) giving more flexibility in picking an overall look to the web projects.

Additionally, one of my biggest wishes for MANY MANY years, which I've mentioned multiple times here, going back to version 6 at least, is the ability to add "hot" cross references between people in the Notes, that is, a link that will allow you to click on it and jump to another person in the file, both internally in Reunion and in the web reports. It seems that the last time I posted that wish must have been more than a year ago, though, because it has scrolled off the forum.

HURRAY! The Relationships view sounds great.

Do you think someone on the Reunion support staff could go through the Wish List, and add comments to each thread saying whether or not that wish was granted?

Most of my wishes have been for either enhancements to the search capabilities, or refinements to the web reports (not related to pictures; I never use pictures at all). I don't see any of them on the New Features list, but they're mostly the kind of small thing that might not get mentioned anyway.

Also, regarding the new web styles, is there any documentation provided on what the css classes are, so that we can more easily roll our own? It took me a long time to reverse engineer the Reunion 9 css classes. (The style sheets, of course, contain the definitions, but you have to examine all the reports to see where they are used.)

Here are some of the wishes I've made over the past year:

    ----- SEARCHING ------

Search on Child Status of Person

    More Conditions in Find

    Improvements to Find Couples search

Wild cards in Index search and Find

    ---- REPORTING -----

More columns on Index pages of web reports

List reports for web coordinated with other web reports

    Web options / web styles

Add css classes for child status and relationship

Formatting of Privacy indicators when including names and/or gender

    Alternative names in report index

Spouses other spouses in Register reports

Widow and orphan control in web index pages

Will there be an upgrade coming for the iPad?

    It looks great!
    I do have a question...
I currently have Reunion 9 on my laptop. It looks pretty simple to upgrade. But later this summer I plan to upgrade to a new MacBook Pro. I don't know if I still have to download of Reunion 9 to install on the new laptop when I get it. Will I need to buy a full version of Reunion 10 to install on the new laptop?

Wow- I think I'm in love. The new version looks wonderful... and so Mac-ish. It incorporates so many of the items on my wish list, and I like the videos for a quick start with what is different. Off to download and play for hours- who needs sleep???

According to the system requirements, Mac OS 10.5.x is required. Since you don't mention architecture I'm assuming that any PPC Mac that can run Mac OS 10.5.x will be able to run Reunion 10, correct?

You do not need to buy two - simply re-download from our website to the second computer:

Then use the User Name and License Code you received with your purchase (assuming you purchased the download) to authorize the installation on the second computer.

Congratulations to all at Leister! v.10 looks just the ticket.

A question however: I use Reunion on my desktop Mac and my laptop Mac. How can I download v.10 on both - I surely don't have to buy two new upgrades?

    Thanks a lot

Only had a brief look so far but this seems like a significant and worthwhile upgrade. I particularly like the look of the tree feature which seems close to what you can do with a tree with Reunion for iPad.
Thanks Frank and all your colleagues at Leister

Fantastic upgrade. Already love the "Places" feature, the new sidebar, and the new obituary in reports. Can't wait to try out the rest of the new features.
