View Full Version : Publishing on interactive websites

I am new to Reunion and to this list, but have been doing genealogy for many years. My current data base (which I'm transferring from "Roots Magic" for PC) has more than 1600 names. I have both a .Mac account and a Network Solutions account. Because I need an interactive data base (where one of my relatives can put in their name, for example, and find all the immediate relatives), I will apparently need PHP/MySQL. Network Solutions has this feature, but all this is new to me. Do any of you have experience with Network Solutions for a large interactive data base such as mine?

I don't have any experience with Network Solutions (I'm a GoDaddy.com man <g>) as long as they support PHP and MySQL, you can certainly use TNG - The Next Generation to put your data online in an interactive way. See

and my site is shown in my signature. This site (as well as several other TNG genealogy sites) runs from my PowerMac G4 which I'm typing this message on - my everyday computer.
