How do I delete a family file? I'm new and created a couple of "practice" files before doing the real thing.

I'm new and created a couple of "practice" files before doing the real thing. Each Family File is a stand-alone file--with whatever name you assigned to it and stored on your hard drive wherever you designated. (If you didn't change the default location, it's likely in your Reunion 8 folder within your Applications folder.) Just find it on your hard drive and, after ensuring it's not open (i.e., being used by the Reunion application), then just move it to your Trash.

Hello fellow Reunion users,
I have just joined this forum and my question is:
How does one delete a whole family file ?
Somehow I imported a TEXT file and it is 259.5 MB !!!
It shows there are 8883580 people in it but when I do a search there are no names.
Any help with very clear directions would be much appreciated.
I have Reunion for Mac OS X, 8.5
Cheers,

That's the easiest question yet! Drag it to the trash & flush. :)

Thanks so much for your excellent instructions, I had left a message today to ask how to do the same function and I have just done it successfully.

Yes, thank you I have done that successfully.
I became fixated in trying to delete it WITHIN the Reunion programme itself instead of finding the Reunion Folder in the Hard Drive Applications.

Thank you !!
