We both do. There has to be a better way. Hopefully the moderator will see this and/or the Wish List and upgrade the program. .... Oh well, back to the Reunion grind.

I thought that the big guns (Roger and Byron) would have come to the rescue by now.

I think that you forgot to check 'Include multimedia files'
Of course you had to link the multimedia file in the Edit Source window.

Preferences -> Web Preferences -> Sources
Check 'Include multmedia list', but also 'Include multimedia files'

After creating your report, you see that your multimedia item (File: 1911 ...) is underlined, so it is a link

And when you click on that link, you got your 'source multimedia'

Thank you Sir, that did it. Will make the remainder of this job much, much easier and better.

I don't "do" Webcards, so wasn't sure quite what this was about, but having done a wee trial just now what Frans said works for me - the link to File: shows at the end of each applicable source, and on the Multimedia page too - perhaps not quite as one would expect - Photos get shown on the Mulitmedia page, but Documents don't - they're represented as a link to the full image, perhaps they should be represented by a clickable thumbnail so you can at least see there's an image there, and click that to see the full size version if you want to read it - oh wait, we're describing how TNG that I use does it :-)

Sorry, i forgot to tell you to include multimedia files. However, as far as I can see the image is included only in web cards, right. The only option for multimedia data on reports is preferred pictures.

Nor do I, except to have briefly dabbled with webcards, so I wouldn't be of much help there except to read the manual. Nor do I do charts, except for the basics.

Unhappy Re: Linking to images

This is so frustrating. I only have five source documents and linking to them is just incredibly frustrating. Tried linking baptism cert to one of my sisters and it keeps bringing up document image for different sister. It can't be that hard for the app maker to give us a legitimate LINK button to make our lives easier.
