There are no video connections on the iPhone or touch --- either in or out. As I imagine that is the question you asked, the answer is no.

In several classes that I have attended recently, the instructor mounted a camcorder on a post and pointed it/focused on a phone or iPod laying flat. In these cases, the camcorder was inputting to a laptop (which was connected to a projector) and the instructor was going back and forth from desktop to device. One should be able to hook the camcorder direct to the TV or projector if there is no need for the Mac.

The iPhone and iPod Touch do support video-out using the Apple Component AV Cable or Apple Composite AV Cable. However, this won't be much help for the original poster as these cables can only display certain media (movies, photos, etc.) and not the iPhone/Touch interface itself, nor any third party application's own media. As far as I know, there is no way for an application developer such as Leister Productions to send their own video out through the cables without using unsupported techniques that would surely get them booted from the App Store.

As a few others have pointed out -- the answer to this question is no. However, if you were wanting to demonstrate the Reunion for iPhone application to a user group, you can run Reunion for iPhone on the iPhone Simulator using a Macintosh. The Macintosh screen (containing the iPhone Simulator and Reunion) can be projected.

If you're interested in running Reunion for iPhone on the iPhone Simulator application, please contact us privately for details at our help at leisterpro address.

Many thanks for clarifying that! In the past I have saved a keynote presentation as a pictures and presented the pictures using the iPhone. No transitions, but it gets the basic information out there.

I like the idea about using the video camera, I do have a spare around so that is a possibility.

Since I haven't purchased reunion 9 yet, I best head over to that forum to find out more about the slideshow presentation.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the offer, Greg. If I get to that point, I will contact you.

JM

If you have a document camera connected to a video projector you can put the iPhone, etc under that and it will be projected. It is not as good as showing video from an iPod but you can do it as I have.
