Here's a strange one for 9.02:
In a descendant chart, left to right orientation, descendant selection mode. I select a son of the primary ancestor, to move his branch of the tree upwards. The first issue is that the use of the arrow keys seems to be working in odd ways. In some cases (defined next), it appears that hitting an arrow key is not moving anything. The selected boxes seem to just stay there. But when I click in the background to deselect everything, the boxes will move into their new position. In other words I am not getting instant feedback of how far I am moving the boxes. Even stranger is that this only seems to happen in these caes: (1) descendant mode and there are more than 4 generations selected, (2) if all boxes are selected on "one box" mode, (3) generations+ mode (any number of generations selected) If I select a descendant tree with 4 or fewer levels of descendants, the boxes move as I hit an arrow key! Is this a "feature" that I have never seen before, or is there a threshold you use for the number of selected boxes that bypasses real time update of arrow key shifts? If so, can you please change it so you can see how far boxes have moved without deselecting them all? It gets really annoying I also tried dragging the selected sub-tree with the mouse. Bizarrely, the boxes on the right edge of the chart window (and which are not completely visible in this scroll position) suddenly appear OUTSIDE the frame of the window as I move the sub-tree! Never saw that one on a Mac before! I always thought the drawing area was bounded by the window rectangle, but in this case the boxes were obviously being drawn outside that frame. Once I released the mouse, the boxes return to be being masked by the window rectangle. Any thoughts?
