I am currently using Reunion 9 because of concerns with dropbox. I want to upgrade to high Sierra which will probably break Reunion 9. If I do not use the companion app for IOS do I need to use Dropbox? To use the iPhone/ipad app does that mean that my family file is stored on Drop Box?

Re: Concerned with using Drop Box in Reunion 12
Yes, if you want to use ReunionTouch, you'll need to store your family file in Drop Box. And if you just want to use Reunion 12 without making the family file available to the mobile app, you can store your family file wherever you're most comfortable with it (including without Drop Box).

Re: Concerned with using Drop Box in Reunion 12
It is possible to just use Drop Box to place a COPY of your tree in. Then you can view it on your phone or ipad whenever you want. It will not be linked to your master file on your computer. I decided that I just wanted one master copy but I enjoy having my Reunion file with me so I can quickly look up a fact to share with someone.
