What is the best way to import an Ancestry tree to Reunion 11? Is it possible to import only part of a tree?

I am an Ancestry user, as far as I know you can only import a tree that you own.
You tell Ancestry to Export a Gedcom of your tree and it is downloaded to you and can be imported into Reunion. You can only do the whole tree and it does not include media files.

If you want other trees you could ask the owner to send you the Gedcom.

Thanks for the reply. I will try this. It is my tree - if I want to just import part of it, I will just put together a new tree on ancestry with just the data I want to import.

You can import your entire Ancestry tree to Reunion, and then prune off the parts you don't need - or export from Reunion to another Reunion file the parts you want to keep.

This is probably easier than creating a new tree on Ancestry.
