    Deletion problem

I edited a female spouse's last name and seem to have created two spouses that are really one person. Both of them show up on the "Spouses and Children" drop down menu for the husband and both have the same child and further descendants.

So I dragged one to the clipboard and deleted her.

Now, in the drop down menu for the husband I still see two spouses, both with the same child except the name of one of the is blank.

(I did do a backup before starting the deletion.)

I have quit and restarted Reunion and I rebuilt the cache but I still have two wives, one of which is blank.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks!

    Re: Deletion problem

From the Spouses & Children menu, select the spouse with no name to navigate to that family record, then select:

File -> Delete -> This Family Record...

From the main menubar at the top of your computer screen.

Basically when you did the drag-and-drop you just deleted the extra person entry, but the family record remained. The above will delete the family record.
