Mountain Lion can't open Reunion 8

I upgraded my Mac from OS X 10.6.8 to 10.8 Mountain Lion and now I can't open Reunion 8. The message says "PowerPC applications are no longer supported." If I upgrade to Reunion 10 will I be able to open my Reunion program and files on my computer? In addition, I have backed up my files on Time Machine and saved the backup on an external hard drive, just in case... Thanks for any help. Connie

Yes, Reunion 10 can open a Reunion 8 file. It will create a new Reunion 10 file, convert the contents of the old file and put them in the new, save the new file, and leave the original file intact.
