    Distorted photos

    Why does Reunion sometimes not preserve the dimensions of photos in the multimedia window, and is there a way to prevent this? I know they can be viewed properly in Preview, but it would be nice to have them display correctly in Reunion.

    Newer versions of Reunion run in 64-bit mode by default. Unfortunately, some underlying Mac technologies no longer work in 64-bit apps. In Reunion, the 64-bit changes made in newer versions of macOS will create the problem you're (likely) seeing...

    From the manual...

    Old pictures, particularly those in QuickDraw PICT format, have been phased out by Apple. If you've linked records in Reunion to this old file format, those pictures may appear skewed in Reunion's Media window. They may also lack previously specified cropping. (The thumbnails previously generated by Reunion are not affected.) You can open these old images in the Preview app and convert them to JPG files (or other formats) and then re-link them to records in Reunion...
