Birth/Death Locations on a Single Line Under the Couple Buttons

Is it possible to display birth dates and locations, death dates and locations and burial dates and locations on the same line under the couple buttons in Family View preferences?

    Rather than seeing:

    Birth abt 1727
    Brumfield Parish, Culpeper Co., VA
    Death abt 1829
St. Thomas Parish, Culpeper Co., VA

    I'd rather see:
Birth abt 1727, Brumfield Parish, Culpeper Co., VA
Death abt 1829, St. Thomas Parish, Culpeper Co., VA

as is the case for other events. I'd recover a bit of screen real estate that way.

    Many thanks,
    Mark

    Yes.

To have those events/event places appear on the same line, follow these steps...

    1. Open your family file and choose Reunion > Preferences.

    2. Click on Family View.

    3. Click on the "Couple" tab near the top.

    4. Click on "Under the Couple Buttons" if it is not already selected.

    5. Click on the Birth field and you will see a little black box in the lower right corner of the field.

    6. Drag that little black box up to reduce the field to only one line.

    7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the Death field.

    8. Finally, close the Family View Preferences window.

I hope you find this information helpful

      Deb,

Thanks so much! That did the trick and is quite obvious once one knows about the little black drag box! Your help is very much appreciated!
