    Duplicate Reunion 12

Some time back when I was downloading Reunion 11 I inadvertenly opened a Reunion 12. It was really 11 but just called 12. I didn't know what to do with it at the time so I just left it. Now when I REALLY want to download Reunion 12 it says that I can't do it because I already have a
Reunion 12. When I try to trash it it says it can't because there is a Reunion 12 open. This is me trying to get the new version up and running. Now what?
    Thank you for your help.

Make sure Reunion is not running. If Reunion is running, a dot will appear below the Reunion icon in your Dock.

Then attempt to install Reunion 12 and, when asked, be sure to click the option that says "Replace" and not "Keep Both." Note that if you click "Keep Both" you will end up with a file called Reunion 13, because the Mac Finder will rename one of the files.

You might want to watch this video just to be sure...

      Hi Gregg,
Thank you for your prompt and useful reply. I THINK I have made progress.
I have Reunion 12 installed on my hard drive and on my doc but NOT in my
application file (it is greyed out). I suspect it is because I have not been able
to enter my User Name and Licence Code. The system is rejecting my code.
I have double checked it and even obtained another one but still get the
      rejection.
I suspect that I am not far off the solution.
      Any suggestion? Thank you again.

I can't think of a reason why Reunion would be greyed out. This is not related to the license code.

Make sure you are entering your license code into Reunion 12 and not Reunion 11. To tell which version of Reunion is running, choose Reunion > About Reunion from Reunion's main menubar.

Since we will probably have to discuss some specifics privately, please direct any further discussion to help@leisterpro.com.

          Hi Gregg,
The reason the system was rejecting my code was the fact that
the J was appearing without the curve at the bottom. It looked like
a 1. The help team spotted this and now everthing is fine. I am in
Reunion 12 and have converted all my trees. Thanks again.
