    Using Reunion with my parents

I'm currently the family genealogist and in my mid-40s. My parents on the other hand are in their 70s and retired. They have much more time to devote to filling in gaps, adding stories, etc. The problem is that they're not very computer savvy.

I'm thinking about getting them a copy of Reunion for the holidays but I'm leery of giving them access to my family file saved in dropbox because I'm worried they'll delete people and make a whole bunch of changes accidentally. I could make a copy of the family file and let them work from that but I wonder how easy it would be to review the changes they make to their family file and merge it with mine?

What are everyone's thoughts on the best way to involve my parents but also "parent-proof" it so they don't goof up all the work I've done?

Re: Using Reunion with my parents

Here's how I see it: in the situation you describe, I would want to preserve a main copy of Reunion where I was the only one entering information. The question then becomes, is it easier to add your parents input out of their separate copy of Reunion, or from paper. I'd say the latter.
