Opening a Web Project on Dropbox

I created a Web Project and have done these numerous times. I put it in Dropbox. When my husband tried to open it from dropbox he got a weird page. I am attaching a screenshot of that page when he double clicked the Index.htm icon. Is the problem with Dropbox or Reunion? If Reunion, how can I fix it.

Dropbox no longer supports hosting websites. I started using Updog.

I was not trying to upload to a website. I just wanted to send a compilation of ancestry to a relative, but the file 115 MB, which is too large to email. I would like for them to be able download the Web Project to their computer to look at. I am sure they don't have Genealogy software so I can't send a GEDCOM. I can put it on a disc, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to mess with the postal service.

Use WeTransfer. (WeTransfer.com) It is free, very fast, and sends recipient an email with a link. It also tells you when the file has been downloaded.

Your husband needed to download the file to his own computer as opposed to attempting to open it in Dropbox. One can still put files in Dropbox and give someone the link to download the file. I just did one such action last week.

That's what we did. I am going to make some changes (forgot a couple people), rebuild the Web Project and see what happens.
