    Reporting on Userid

I'm using Reunion to make some sense of a genealogy book's information. It has numbers assigned to all the descendants, no numbers on spouses or parents of spouses. I've entered the numbers in the userid field and would like to report on users by name with userids and DOB. I can't figure out how to do this.

It sounds like you are wanting a listing of every person who has a User ID. And, that listing should include their name, their User ID and their birth date.

If that is the case, follow these steps to get that listing...

    1. Open your family file and choose Find in the navbar on the left. Then, select these conditions...

    Numbers / User ID# ... Is Not ... <leave field empty>

    2. Next, click the highlighted "Find" button.

    3. The Results sidebar will open showing all people who have something entered into the User ID# field.

    4. Press "Command-L" on your keyboard. This opens a list window. (If the list window that opens is not the "List - Results" window, click on the word "Results" in the far left column of the list window.)

    5. Adjust the field shown in each column so you see the person's name, User ID and Birth Date fields. (Information on how to change fields shown in a list and how to move columns can be found in your manual by searching for "columns list." To access the manual, choose Help -> Contents or click the "?" in the lower left corner of any Reunion window.)

    6. To sort on a column in the list window, click on the column heading at the top.

    7. If you would like to print or share this report with others, use the "share" button (blue box with arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the list window. (The share button allows you to do one of the following: save a text file, save the listing as a web-based report in a web folder, open the report in your word processor, attach a text file to an email, or open a web-based report in your web browser.)

I hope you find this information helpful in getting the report you want

However, if this was not what you were hoping to see, please clarify what you want to see.
