Pay to download app to new "iCloud Family" device?

I bought the app for my wife's iPad.
I now want to download the app for my new iPhone.
Do I have to buy it again for the iPhone?
(App Store shows me the price/buy button instead of a download button.)

I thought we could share app purchases.
Is that not the case for Reunion?
[it would still be worth it to buy it again ]

If this violates policy, then please delete.

In iTunes, sign out of your account, and sign into your wife's account. Download the app & sync. sign out of her's and back into yours.

Be advised, though, that any updates will need to be updated with her act & password.

Did you buy your wife's copy on her own iTunes account? If so, you can join your accounts together using iTunes Family Sharing to share purchases. First, follow Apple's instructions to set up your family. It sounds like maybe you've already done this.

Once you're in the same "family group," you'll need to download from the App Store app's "Purchased" screen, not the ReunionTouch app page. Launch the App Store app on your new iPhone and tap on the "Updates" button in the lower right. The top item in the list that appears should be "Purchased." Tap on it and you should see "My Purchases" followed by a line for each person in your iTunes family group (which should include your wife). Tap on her name and you'll see every app she has purchased (or at least all the ones that allow Family Sharing). ReunionTouch should have the little "cloud download" icon next to it. Tap on that to start the download for free.

That's just the ticket. I'm downloading now. Thank you!
