    Missing serial no

I was using Reunion earlier in the day and then quit, but realised I was not finished.

When I relaunched it could not find the serial number, but happily I had it as five months ago as it had happened then and Deb had sent it to me from Leister's records.

Is there any obvious reason for this happening [losing serial number, not Deb being helpful!].

    Cheers, Colin

By any chance, do you use a Mac-cleaning program, such as MacKeeper or CleanMyMac?

If so, either of those programs can delete the license file for Reunion, which causes Reunion to think you are running in "demo mode."

If you are using either of the programs mentioned, please see this web page...

...for information on how to proceed.

Note: if you no longer have access to the license information previously sent to you, please let me know and I will re-send the information.

I hope you find this information helpful

      Spot on as always Deb!

Thanks so much [and I had found your 2016 email, so thank you again for that].

This is about Mackeeper and similar programs. I wa having a problem with my Macbook and I called Apple. They do not recommend these programs.

Colin: GET RID OF either of these programs if your'e using. They are nasty. It took Apple over 7 months to help me find the traces of MacKeeper that had taken hold of my OS and reeked havoc with syncing my iPod. (Not related to Reunion but just to show how nasty it can be.)

Mackeeper is the program from hell. I ended up having to ditch my computer and get a new one - despite getting help from a number of places. I had to reinstall my programs from a back-up prior to adding Mackeeper.

Apple should take steps to remove the Mackeeper ads from their website pages - I assumed that it was approved by Apple when I downloaded it.
