I am new to the use of genealogy databases and wonder about what one gets when subscribing to one such as Ancestry.com. Is it easy to use? Does it have good coverage of the UK and North America? Is it a good value? I have looked at the 2 week free offer and wonder if I don't subscribe after using the 2 weeks free is it easy to sever the tie?
Thanks
With a seven-day free trial, I spent a couple hours exploring its possibilities. It seems to provide convenient, aggregated access to many resources that I have already used. And it sponsors forums for its own community of paying users. It gave me no new data. But does it provide access to data not available by more traditional means?
