Entered wrong gender

Due to my eyes not seeing fuzzy old print as well as I should and entering before checking to see about their children, I have inadvertently made males- females and vice versa, how does one correct this error.

I just figured it out, if it is Mac based, do the logical, retype in the name and it corrected the gender foul up.

Sorry for the rookie mistake.

Actually, that is not the way. Somehow, you got lucky.

In the Edit Person panel, just to the right of the First & Mid Name box, there is a popup menu to choose which sex. That is the common way.
