how to Record a person with 2 surnames

I have a g.grandfather who was born in 1851, one month before his mother married, whose birth is registered under his mother's maiden name.

He wasn't baptised till some 5 years later and on the same day as his sister, but now under his mother's married name.

I'm certain the mother married the father but what I'm not sure of, is how does one record this info in Reunion.

    Any suggestions?

I use the last name the person used most of their life as the primary name and provide explanation about the other name in my Notes. Most frequently, it involves adoption by new parent when one of the biological parents remarries following divorce or death. My rationale is that most of my research, other than birth information, is going to utilize that most of their life last name.
