I have OS X and OS 9 installed on my Mac. I can open up Reunion 7 in OS 9 and see all my data but I can not change or add new data. Can anyone help?

Two things come to mind:
1. The file is locked. You can unlock it by selecting to icon for the family file and doing File>Get Info and unchecking the "locked" box.
2. The file or the folder it is in has read only privileges for you. To check this open the info window for the family file (as described above) and look in the ownership and permissions area. Make sure you are the owner and that you have read/write privileges. (You can do the same thing to the folder the file lives in and then copy the privilege settings to all enclosed items. Tiger will make you authenticate this action, Jaguar and Panther do not require authentication.)
NOTE: When you create a file or a folder Mac OS X makes your user the owner with read/write access. The group assigned is Staff. Both Staff and everyone are given read only privileges.
The whole privileges thing is why it is a good idea to leave your stuff in your home folder rather than scatter it about the hard drive like people generally did in Mac OS 9.
Hope this helps!
